Position Mission

  • As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be a key team member charged with promoting our brand image in Houston and the surrounding market. You will be designing programs and methods for communicating with patients and helping us present the best possible branding and representation in the community.  You’ll be an integral part of our team and will help convey our excellent dental care to our valued patients.
  • Coordinate community marketing: coordinate community events, including ordering supplies and designing and producing promotional materials and displays. Also includes maximizing events to ensure success: set-up, promote, book appointments, break-down (requires some Saturday availability).
  • Assist office managers in researching and developing optimal community events, programs, sponsorships, and all opportunities to benefit the office’s image and capture the community’s trust.
  • Brand management: Help in the audit of each office to ensure the marketing and office image is consistent with brand guidelines. Coordinate, edit, and proof, with high attention to detail, all marketing media placed on behalf of affiliated offices in a designated region, including print ads, flyers, direct mailings, signage, community promotions, online channels, office, and doctor specific materials, message-on hold, etc. to ensure quality and standardization in all mediums.
  • Understand and comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.

Administrative Assistance: Responsible for daily administrative duties including, but not limited to, ordering of marketing kits, managing ordering and delivery of promotional items, and assembling marketing books. Work with creative team and outside vendors to ensure projects are produced on deadline

  • Own or contribute to various marketing projects that help drive the brand strategy (e.g., field resource development, digital marketing, advisory board coordination, initiatives, etc.) Actively participate on the advisory board, piloting new materials and testing effectiveness with customers.
  • Field Partnership – Contribute development of the regional strategic business plans as well as the marketing team’s, providing key field insight/intelligence.  Partner with sales consultants, key account executives, office managers, clinical teams, and other internal partners to remain aligned on the brand’s business strategy.

  • Compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory guidance (100% compliance).
  • Maintains a high return on our marketing investment (300% ROI).
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Attends team/company meetings and contributes to mandatory/required training (100% participation).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 2+ years experience in marketing/advertising
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Enjoys multi-tasking
  • One to three (1-3) years experience in a marketing function; experience in a regional healthcare or dental environment is a plus.
  • At least four (2) years of combined Marketing Communications experience in developing marketing strategy briefs, planning and managing project budgets
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies, principles, and processes
  • Knowledge of marketing tools, techniques, and best practices
  • Knowledge of marketing consumer behaviors and trends
  • Knowledge of marketing effectiveness, strengths, limitations, and basic relative costs of various media channels (i.e. print, digital, social, broadcast, etc.) including multicultural communications
  • Experience analyzing media and market research data, financial data, consumer research, and database trends.
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Motivated, friendly, and energetic
  • Strong critical thinking skills, excellent follow through, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Copy writing/editing skills
  • Proficient with technology including computers and other devices, apps like Canva and video editing , social media management skills

Other Desirable Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe software including Illustrator, Photoshop, and In-Design.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends (Sat and Sun) or at home as needed
  • Willingness to travel within Houston

  • Proactively manages internet social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets) to reach growth goals and improve company outreach.
  • Troubleshoots issues that may arise during various marketing campaigns and advise stakeholders appropriately.
  • Improves specific skills and behaviors that maximize marketing return on investment (ROI), efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Assists team members with appropriate understanding of marketing and promotional programs.

  • Assist with various other administrative activities such as answering phones, scheduling, patient check-in/out, insurance verification, billing, record keeping, etc.
