Most new patient appointments take 60–90 minutes. This includes your exam, X-rays, cleaning, and a brief consultation with the doctor about your treatment plan and any concerns.

Absolutely not. Our team has seen it all and we never make patients feel bad about gaps in their dental care. Our job is to help you get back on track not to lecture you.

Charm Dental Care accepts insurance and can help verify your benefits before your visit. Coverage varies by plan, so the office can review what may be covered and explain expected costs.   

Most patients should be seen every 6 months. However, patients with gum disease, a history of heavy tartar buildup, or other conditions may benefit from more frequent cleanings — every 3–4 months. We’ll recommend what’s right for you.

A regular (prophylaxis) cleaning removes plaque and tartar from above and just below the gumline. A deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) goes further below the gumline and is recommended when gum disease is present. Our exam will determine which you need.
