Advantages of Invisalign
Although traditional braces that consist of metal wires and brackets are very effective and remain popular today, they can be unattractive, cumbersome, and uncomfortable, or even painful. Invisalign is an excellent alternative. The treatment consists of a system of custom-made aligners that are worn in a specific order according to your treatment plan. The aligners are smooth, making them more comfortable, and removable, making cleaning much easier. They are also clear, so they are nearly invisible when they are being worn.
Procedure for Invisalign
Before you can begin the treatment, your dentist at Charm Dental will first examine your teeth to check whether you are a good candidate for Invisalign. It is a very versatile treatment and can be used to address overbite, underbite, open bite, and gapped teeth. If you are a good candidate, measurements and impressions will be taken of your teeth, and your dentist will create a custom treatment plan. The aligners will be created according to this treatment plan, with a new aligner being changed out approximately every week. You will need to visit our office in Richmond, TX periodically, to allow your dentist to check on the progress of the teeth movement, but these visits will be much less frequent than with other braces treatments.
To complete the treatment, you will be required to wear the aligners for 20 to 22 hours every day. You will receive detailed instructions on how to keep your teeth and the aligners clean during this treatment.

Patients with no insurance have the option of using CareCredit® (pending approval) as well as Lending point payment plans and making a payment of $199* a month with no down payment.
